We do not have a receptionist on site. When you arrive for your appointment, take a seat in the waiting room (On the right as you enter) and Esme will be with you at the time of your appointment.
If your baby is booked in for chiropractic treatment, they are a lot more settled during appointments, if they have been fed just beforehand.
The treatment room that Esme treats from, is on the ground floor.
There is enough space in the waiting room and the treatment room for your pram.
Try if you can to plan a quiet day after you leave the clinic, if your newborn/child has been treated.
It is advised that patients rest afterwards, to gain maximum benefit from the treatment.
If you are unsure about whether chiropractic care can benefit your newborn/child, feel free to book in for a free informal chat (spine check) with Esme, where she can discuss/assess and advise on your child's condition. If she doesn’t think she can help, with such a good relationship with the paediatric specialists across the island, she can point you in the right direction to other practitioners that can. If you are pregnant, and would like to book your baby in with Esme shortly after their arrival, we would encourage you to book those appointments now while there may still be space in the diary. Your baby would need a 1 hour new patient appointment which we would recommend booking in for around 2-3 weeks after your due date, followed by a 30 minute follow-up appointment around a week later. If you have any questions regarding chiropractic care for babies, or if you would like to bring this appointment forward once baby has arrived, please get in touch.
Our chiropractors diaries are often booked up a few weeks, sometimes months in advance. With this in mind, if you decide to book your child in for an initial consultation/treatment, it is strongly advised to also pre-book a "routine appointment" a week after this initial appointment, at a time that suits you better.
This can always be cancelled nearer the time if it is not needed, but by the time a patient comes in for their initial appointment, there is often very little, if any availability the following week, which may compromise the progress of the treatment plan.
